I used to have a cycle: get motivated, write a plan, then lose steam and disappear for a week. BetterBrain made it harder to lie to myself. It's not just notes. It's not just tasks. It's the way it links what I'm thinking to what I'm doing. I'll brain-dump, pull out the actual actions, and it turns into a simple daily “do these” list. I'm actually clearer on my weeks now because my head isn't full of half-finished intentions. I also like that it doesn't feel gimmicky as well. I will say though, it NEEDS to have calendar integrations.
I gave Day One a proper run and I've been a Todoist guy for ages. Both are good - but together they still didn't stop the “busy but going nowhere” feeling. BetterBrain just clicks because it's built for self-improvement, not just “get more done.” I use it for training, diet, and building a side hustle after my 9-5. It keeps my notes, goals, and daily actions in the same place, so I'm not constantly context-switching.
I used to doomscroll but my feed had actual useful info in, so it wasn't as bad, but still not great. But becasue I was reading so much good stuff, I just saved loads of post in one folder and never actually refer to them again. Now I actually turn good posts into something I keep and use by capturing it with the capture from anything feature and then use my voice to actually discusses the ideas before I capture and that actually helps me to articulate them again if it comes up in convo. Sorry lol that was a long sentence/review.
This is going to sound cringey, but it actually fully felt like I was decluttering my head. I've always had a loud mind with stuff like plans, worries, random ideas, resentment, old conversations...journaling did help a lot but it always kinda felt like work. BetterBrain made it feel lighter because it gives the thoughts somewhere to go, and then it helps you sort them into 'this matters' or whether I should 'let go' lol.
Download BetterBrain right now and start taking action on what's important to you.
We built BetterBrain to keep us accountable to our goals and life responsbilities.
We both had big - to some people, delusional - ambitions but had no proper, out-the-box system that would help us achieve everything we envisioned for ourselves. We needed a centralised place to house all our crazy ideas, to-do's, journals and boring life admin stuff. But we wanted this private and securley stored on our phones so we can interact with all our thoughts and actions wherever, whenever.
Hopefully you too can build your BetterBrain and start, each day, slowy creating a life you can call your own.
BetterBrain is a self-improvement operating system. It merges digital productivity with tailored self-development.
Through daily to weekly journalling flows, it holds you accountable to the future you want to create and the person you want to become.
By being a centralised hub of all your personal knowledge, BetterBrain acts as your digital second brain, where all key dates, people, ideas and todo's can easily be resurfaced when and wherever you are. This helps to keep your life organised and helps you never forget anything.
Its core feature called Destiny Definer helps take you from having no direction or idea about where you want your life to go—that feels true to you—and condenses this problem into actionable steps and takeaways, ready for you to immediately start taking action.
OneDAT – A daily journalling flow for the morning and evening, keeping you in sync with who you want to become and the future you want to create.
IntelliJournal – A multifaceted, AI-powered journal that becomes your own private knowledge hub, with many features. For example, messy-to-clear voice transcription—speak fuzzy, get clarity. Also, when editing an entry, you can use the super intuitive block-architecture, so journalling begins to feel like lego and you can create thousands of detailed mini documents, all privately stored on your device—not the cloud.
Destiny Definer – A future self-directed journalling process, helping you go from no idea about what you want to immediate next steps to start taking action—and stop wasting days.
Weekly Review – A weekly journalling flow, allowing you to reflect on the week you had and prepare for the next. You can start the week feeling ready, not aimlessly dreadful.
